I am a Fulbright Garcia-Robles grantee and researcher with a background in public policy.
I investigate the role of independent accountability mechanisms in Mexico’s transition to renewable energy as an affiliate of El Colegio de Mexico and Accountability Counsel. I recently received my Master of Public Policy from UC Berkeley; I studied how policy can help advance climate change solutions. My academic training includes policy analysis, quantitative research methods, program evaluation, economics, and data science—all focused on developing climate change solutions that benefit communities while protecting natural resources.
I became passionate about environmental issues as a content writer and editor at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. In this role, I helped create digital experiences to reinforce people’s connection to the natural world and inspire ocean conservation. Throughout my career, I've developed skill sets through diverse experiences spanning digital marketing, language education, and technology industries. This background enables me to approach climate policy challenges with innovative perspectives and communication strategies.
